That single change reframes what the watch is for: a full day of elapsed time on one measurement, in 1/20-second increments, with split-time capability. The second time zone also moves to a 24-hour sub-dial, which removes any ambiguity about whether it is morning or evening where you are not.

The case is new too. At 43.4mm across and 12.4mm thick, it is noticeably slimmer than the outgoing generation, built in titanium with a super-hard coating and fitted with a two-piece octagonal titanium bezel — brushed across the top, polished down the faceted sides. The blue-grey dial carries a geometric pattern of interlocking triangles behind three horizontally arranged sub-dials, and the case takes a quick-change strap system: press a button, the bracelet comes off, press a silicone strap into place and it is secure.
