Every Citizen L Watch Is Powered by Eco-Drive

Citizen L watches use Citizen's proprietary Eco-Drive technology, which converts natural and artificial light into energy and stores it in a rechargeable cell.

This makes regular conventional battery replacement unnecessary. Once fully charged, Eco-Drive watches can continue operating for months without additional exposure to light, although running time varies by movement and model.

Citizen L RAINELL

The RAINELL collection gives Citizen L a more sculptural and contemporary expression. Its distinctive case takes inspiration from the form of a falling raindrop, combining softly rounded lines with elegant metal bracelets and refined dial treatments.

Current RAINELL designs include silver, black and gold-tone models, while selected limited editions add diamond detailing for a more jewellery-inspired finish.

Citizen L SQUARE

The Citizen L SQUARE collection offers a different alternative to the traditional round women's watch. Curved cases and sapphire glass give selected designs a distinctive geometric appearance while retaining softer proportions on the wrist.

Selected SQUARE models also feature mother-of-pearl dials and alternative strap materials, giving the collection a balance of contemporary shape and feminine detail.

Citizen L ARCLY

ARCLY takes inspiration from the light of daybreak, using curved forms, expressive dials and selected diamond or mother-of-pearl details.

Selected models also incorporate interchangeable straps and alternative materials, allowing the watch to change character for different styles and occasions.

Citizen L ROUND

ROUND brings a softer, more traditional silhouette to Citizen L. Inspired by flowers and natural forms, selected models feature mother-of-pearl, diamond accents and gently curved details.

Choose ROUND if you prefer the familiarity of a classic circular watch with the nature-inspired design language of Citizen L.

Mother-of-Pearl & Jewellery-Inspired Details

Selected Citizen L watches use mother-of-pearl dials, diamonds and polished metal details to create a more jewellery-inspired appearance.

Mother-of-pearl naturally varies in colour and reflection, giving the dial greater depth as it catches the light. Other models use coloured, patterned or gradation dials to express the collection's connection to nature in different ways.

Stainless Steel & Leather Designs

The current Citizen L range at City Chain is primarily made up of stainless-steel bracelet watches, with selected leather-strap options also available.

Metal bracelets create a polished, jewellery-like appearance, while strap models offer a softer and more understated alternative.

Sustainability at the Heart of Citizen L

Sustainability has been a core value of Citizen L since 2016. Eco-Drive helps reduce the need for regularly discarded watch batteries, while Citizen L also explores recycled and alternative materials in selected components and straps.
