Citizen Watchmaking Since 1924
The first watch to carry the CITIZEN name was a Japanese-made pocket watch released in 1924. The name was chosen with the hope that the watch would be loved and used by citizens everywhere, and Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. was established in 1930.
