The case, bezel and bracelet combine silver and gold tones rather than using one finish throughout. In practice it means the watch works with both gold and silver jewellery, which is why two-tone is usually the safest choice if you have not settled on one metal.
Why are there only two hands?
By design. The Petite Palidoro shows hours and minutes only, with no seconds hand. On a small deco dial a sweeping seconds hand adds visual noise; leaving it out keeps the dial still and lets the framed indices carry the design.

A fully charged watch keeps running for approximately eight months in complete darkness. If it does stop, leaving it in bright light for a few hours restarts it and you simply reset the time. Storing it face-up near a window rather than in a closed drawer avoids the issue entirely.
Can I swim or shower with this watch?
No. With 30-metre (3 BAR) water resistance it is rated for handwashing and rain only. Do not wear it swimming, showering or in a bath — steam and hot water are particularly hard on seals at this rating, and prolonged water contact is also the fastest way to wear a gold-tone finish.
How do I care for the two-tone finish?
Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft dry cloth after wear, and keep the watch away from perfume, hairspray and cleaning products — spray those before putting it on. The gold-tone elements will show wear more visibly than the steel ones over years, so the clasp and bracelet edges are worth protecting.
