Does an automatic watch need a battery?
No. The Miyota 82S7 is powered by the natural movement of your wrist — a rotor inside the case winds the mainspring as you move. If the watch stops after sitting unworn for a day or two, simply give it a few gentle shakes or wear it for a few minutes to restart it.
