What is an automatic movement and does this watch need a battery?
No battery. The Y676 is a mechanical automatic movement — a weighted rotor inside the caseback spins with the motion of your wrist, winding the mainspring and storing energy. The watch can also be wound manually by turning the crown clockwise. If the watch stops, wind it manually for 20–30 turns to restart it, then set the time.
What is the power reserve — how long will it run without wearing it?
The Y676 calibre offers a useful reserve when fully wound — typically enough to run through a weekend off the wrist.
