Every other men's Europa adds gold — bezel plating, two-tone bracelet, gold-plated crown. The -001 doesn't. The 43mm plain steel case carries the dark blue sunray dial with silver applied indexes at all 12 positions, paired with a plain steel bracelet from case to clasp. The result is a watch that reads as serious and considered rather than ornamented — the Europa for the wrist that prefers restraint.
The dark blue sunray dial shifts from deep navy in shadow to clear ocean blue in direct light, with silver applied indexes that catch light at every position without competing with the dial itself. The 5-micron surface of the sunray finish means the colour is never static — this is a dial that rewards movement.
At its heart, the SW200 is a Swiss automatic movement that needs no battery, no intervention, just the natural motion of your wrist to stay running. 26 jewels. 28,800 vibrations per hour. 41 hours of power reserve. Wind it by wearing it.

CYMA was founded in 1862 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland — the birthplace of Swiss watchmaking and home to some of the most important horological institutions in the world. From the outset, the Schwob brothers built CYMA on a single principle: that a well-made watch should be dependable above all else.

By the early 20th century, CYMA was supplying military timepieces to armed forces that demanded absolute reliability — watches worn in conditions where failure was not an option. The proprietary Cymaflex shock-protection system and their early advances in water resistance were engineering breakthroughs, not marketing features. CYMA also claimed the chronometer certificate from the Neuchâtel Observatory and first prize for accuracy at the 1910 World Fair in Brussels.
