The CYMA Charisma -001 is the all-steel entry to the Heritage collection — the same SW200 automatic movement, the same K1 exhibition caseback, the same sapphire crystal as every Charisma above it. The difference is the restraint. No gold plating on the bezel, no two-tone bracelet. The blue sunray dial — shifting from deep cornflower in shadow to clear luminous blue in light — sits in a plain steel case and is paired with a plain steel bracelet. The result is a watch that disappears into any outfit without disappearing from the wrist.
Turn it over. Through the K1 exhibition caseback glass, the SW200 moves visibly — the rotor swinging with every movement of your wrist. The movement that winds itself as you wear it, visible at both ends of the day. This is what Swiss automatic watchmaking looks like when the case gets out of the way.

CYMA was founded in 1862 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland — the birthplace of Swiss watchmaking and home to some of the most important horological institutions in the world. From the outset, the Schwob brothers built CYMA on a single principle: that a well-made watch should be dependable above all else.
That philosophy was tested and proven under pressure. By the early 20th century, CYMA was supplying military timepieces to armed forces that demanded absolute reliability — watches worn in conditions where failure was not an option. The proprietary Cymaflex shock-protection system and their early advances in water resistance were engineering breakthroughs, not marketing features. CYMA also claimed the chronometer certificate from the Neuchâtel Observatory and first prize for accuracy at the 1910 World Fair in Brussels.
