Is this a limited edition?
Yes. Citizen released the NJ0178-81M as a limited edition within its Mechanical Collection, separate from the open-production models in the range. Singapore receives a share of that allocation, and once it sells through there is no restock.

What does "automatic" mean?
An automatic watch is powered by the natural movement of your wrist. A rotor inside the case winds the mainspring as you wear it, so no battery is needed. If left unworn for about two days it will stop and need resetting — simply wear it again to restart it.
How long does the power reserve last?
Approximately 40 hours when fully wound, so the watch keeps running for close to two days after you take it off. Regular daily wear keeps it continuously wound.
How accurate is a mechanical watch?
Mechanical movements are not as precise as quartz by design — expect to reset the time every week or two. The appeal is the engineering, the absence of a battery and the movement you can watch through the caseback.
Does a mechanical watch need servicing?
Yes. Unlike a quartz watch, an automatic has moving parts and lubricants that wear over time. Citizen recommends periodic servicing to keep timekeeping and water resistance within spec. Any City Chain outlet can arrange this — bring your warranty card.
Is the glass sapphire?
No — this model uses mineral glass. It resists everyday knocks well but will pick up fine scratches over years in a way sapphire would not. If sapphire matters to you, the Citizen Tsuyosa and Super Titanium ranges use it as standard.
Will 43mm fit my wrist?
43mm is a large case and suits wrists from roughly 17cm upward. On a wrist under 16.5cm it will read as substantial. If you prefer something more moderate, the 40mm Citizen Tsuyosa models use the same Calibre 8210 in a smaller case.
Can I swim with this watch?
Yes. With 100-metre (10 BAR) water resistance it is suitable for swimming and snorkelling. It is not rated for scuba diving. Avoid operating the crown while the watch is submerged, and rinse with fresh water after saltwater or pool exposure.
Is the bracelet adjustable?
