The EX1550-54E is the black-dial edition of the Rainell Mini — a compact, jewellery-forward watch from Citizen's Citizen L collection. Where the silver-tone 54A is soft and understated, the black dial gives the same teardrop-shaped case a sharper, more modern contrast against the silver-tone bracelet. The Rainell's signature design is its sculptural raindrop-inspired case, drawn from Citizen's Tokyo design archives — the name itself is a fusion of Rain and Bella (beautiful). At just 20mm wide and 7.5mm thin, the Mini is sized to wear like a bracelet rather than a traditional watch. The black dial features hairline finishing reminiscent of rainfall, applied indices, and matching hands, protected by a spherical sapphire crystal that catches light from every angle.
