The watch charges from light, so it needs exposure to sunlight or bright indoor light. A full charge runs the watch for about 11 months of normal use without any light exposure, and the battery level indicator shows the charge status.
What does Power Saving do?
When the watch is left in darkness, the display blanks to save energy. With Power Saving on, a full charge lasts about 27 months in total darkness.
Can I swim and shower with it?
It is rated to 20 bar (200 metres), which suits splashes, rain, showers and swimming. It is not intended for scuba diving. Do not press the buttons when the watch is wet, and rinse it in fresh water after the sea or a pool.
Is it shock and mud resistant?
Yes. It uses Casio’s shock-resistant construction, designed to withstand impact from any direction, and it is also mud resistant.
