The CYMA Belle -004 is the leather strap variant of the Belle collection, and the one that takes the jewellery-led design furthest. Where the -001 wears a plain steel bezel, the -004 carries an 18K rose gold-plated bezel prong set with 56 cubic zirconia stones — individually set, catching light from every angle. Against the black croco leather strap, the rose gold and CZ bezel reads as jewellery first, watch second.
The 33mm case sits at just 7.7mm slim. The white geometric pattern dial continues what the bezel begins — 11 cubic zirconia hour markers set against the geometric white surface, Super LumiNova on the hands for low-light legibility. This is a watch built to be seen at close range.
Why it's built differently:
- 56 CZ prong-set rose gold bezel — individually set cubic zirconia stones in an 18K rose gold-plated bezel. The sparkle is structural, not applied.
- 11 cubic zirconia hour markers — the dial continues what the bezel begins. Geometric white pattern, CZ at every hour.
- Sapphire crystal — scratch-resistant glass that protects the dial and bezel detail through daily wear. Not mineral glass. Sapphire.

CYMA was founded in 1862 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland — the birthplace of Swiss watchmaking and home to some of the most important horological institutions in the world. From the outset, the Schwob brothers built CYMA on a single principle: that a well-made watch should be dependable above all else.

By the early 20th century, CYMA was supplying military timepieces to armed forces that demanded absolute reliability — watches worn in conditions where failure was not an option. The proprietary Cymaflex shock-protection system and their early advances in water resistance were engineering breakthroughs, not marketing features. CYMA also claimed the chronometer certificate from the Neuchâtel Observatory and first prize for accuracy at the 1910 World Fair in Brussels.
