The Citizen NK5020-58X Zenshin 60 is the green one — and the material underneath is the argument. Super Titanium is five times harder and 40% lighter than stainless steel, and it is scratch- and rust-resistant. At 40.5mm with a full integrated bracelet, this watch weighs around 100 grams. A steel equivalent would weigh half again as much, and you feel that difference within an hour.
The dial is a textured green with a soft gradient that deepens toward the edges, carrying applied luminous indexes and a small seconds sub-dial set between 4 and 5 o'clock. That off-centre placement is what gives the watch its character — it is asymmetric where almost every automatic at this price is not. A twelve-sided bezel gives the case its angular profile.
Inside is Citizen's in-house Calibre 8322 — 21 jewels, hacking seconds, manual winding, and a 60-hour power reserve, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. Sapphire crystal over the dial, 100-metre water resistance, 11.3mm thick. There is no date function: hours, minutes and small seconds only.

Does this watch have a date?
No. The Zenshin 60 displays hours, minutes and small seconds only. The sub-dial between 4 and 5 o'clock is a running seconds register, not a date or power reserve indicator. If you need a date, the Citizen Tsuyosa models use a 3 o'clock date window.
What is Super Titanium?
Super Titanium is Citizen's proprietary titanium alloy, finished with Duratect surface hardening. Citizen states it is five times harder and 40% lighter than stainless steel, and it is scratch- and rust-resistant as well as hypoallergenic. Citizen introduced the world's first titanium watch in 1970 and has been developing the material ever since.
Which Zenshin 60 colour should I choose?
All four share the same Super Titanium case, Calibre 8322, 60-hour power reserve and 100m water resistance — only the dial changes. The NK5020-58X is green, the least common and the one with the most depth. The NK5020-58L is light blue, the most versatile for daily wear. The NK5020-58M is dark blue and the most formal. The NK5020-58P is copper and the warmest.
How much lighter is it than a steel watch?
Around 40% lighter for the same volume of material. On a 40.5mm case with a full integrated bracelet that works out at roughly 100 grams — noticeably lighter than steel, and the reason titanium owners rarely go back.
Does titanium scratch more easily than steel?
Untreated titanium does, which is the usual objection to it. Duratect addresses that directly — Citizen's surface treatment hardens the material to around five times the hardness of stainless steel, so this case and bracelet resist marking better than a steel equivalent rather than worse.
How long does the power reserve last?
Approximately 60 hours when fully wound — two and a half days. Take it off on Friday evening and it will usually still be running on Monday morning, which is the practical advantage of the Calibre 8322 over the 40-hour movements common at this level.
What does the stop-seconds function do?
When you pull the crown out to the time-setting position, the small seconds hand stops completely. This lets you synchronise the watch to a reference clock down to the exact second. Push the crown back in and the seconds hand resumes.
Can I wind this watch by hand?
Yes. The Calibre 8322 supports manual winding as well as automatic winding. If the watch has stopped, turn the crown clockwise around 20 to 30 times to get it running, then wear it normally to keep it wound.
How accurate is a mechanical watch?
The Calibre 8322 is rated at -20 to +40 seconds per day. Mechanical movements are not as precise as quartz by design — the appeal is the engineering, the absence of a battery and the movement you can watch through the caseback. Most owners reset the time every week or two.
Can I swim with this watch?
Yes. With 100-metre water resistance it is suitable for swimming and recreational water sports. It is not rated for scuba diving. Avoid operating the crown while the watch is submerged, and rinse with fresh water after saltwater or pool exposure.
Is the bracelet adjustable?
Yes. The Super Titanium bracelet can be resized by adding or removing links. City Chain offers complimentary bracelet sizing at any outlet — bring your warranty book along for the service.
