The Citizen NJ0200-50Z Tsuyosa is the 37mm version of the watch that made the Tsuyosa collection recognisable — the same integrated-bracelet automatic, scaled down. Citizen introduced the 37mm case to open the collection to wrists the 40mm NJ015 was never quite right for, and the result is a genuinely unisex watch rather than a men's design in a smaller size.
The dial is a pastel pink sunray — considerably softer than a pink dial usually implies. It reads as a pale blush that shifts with the light rather than a statement colour, with luminous silver baton indices, silver hands and a date window at 3 o'clock magnified by a cyclops in the crystal. The silver-tone case and bracelet keep the whole thing quiet.
Inside is Citizen's Calibre 8210 automatic with 21 jewels, visible through the exhibition caseback. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal, 50-metre water resistance, and 11.5mm of case thickness on a 41.9mm lug-to-lug span mean it sits flat and small on the wrist — around 120 grams, which is light for a full steel bracelet.

Should I choose the 37mm or the 40mm Tsuyosa?
The 37mm NJ020 series and the 40mm NJ015 series share the same Calibre 8210 movement, sapphire crystal, integrated bracelet, exhibition caseback and 50m water resistance — the difference is size. The 37mm has a 41.9mm lug-to-lug span and suits wrists from roughly 14cm to 17cm, or anyone who prefers a smaller watch. The 40mm suits 16cm and up. How pink is the dial?
Less than you might expect. Citizen describes it as pastel pink, and in person it reads as a soft blush that shifts tone under the sunray finish rather than a bright or saturated pink. What does "automatic" mean?
An automatic watch is powered by the natural movement of your wrist. A rotor inside the case winds the mainspring as you wear it, so no battery is needed. If left unworn for about a day and a half it will stop and need resetting — simply wear it again, or wind the crown manually to restart it.
Can I wind this watch by hand?
Yes. The Calibre 8210 supports manual winding as well as automatic winding. If the watch has stopped, turn the crown clockwise around 20 to 30 times to get it running, then wear it normally to keep it wound.
Does a mechanical watch need servicing?
Yes. Unlike a quartz watch, an automatic has moving parts and lubricants that wear over time. Citizen recommends periodic servicing to keep timekeeping and water resistance within spec. Any City Chain outlet can arrange this — bring your warranty card.
Can I swim with this watch?
No. With 50-metre (5 BAR) water resistance, the NJ0200-50Z is rated for handwashing, rain and brief accidental splashes, but it is not intended for swimming, showering or diving. If you need a Tsuyosa you can swim in, the Tsuyosa Shore models are rated to 100 metres.
Is the bracelet adjustable?
