The ellesse Luna W03-00857-003 is the two-tone one. A silver white dial sits in a 30mm round case above a bracelet worked in silver and light rose gold together — the only Luna carrying both metals, and the only one that will sit comfortably beside silver and rose gold jewellery on the same wrist. Does the plated bracelet need extra care around water?
A little. The steel underneath is unaffected, but the rose gold plating is a thin surface layer and chlorine and seawater are hard on it. Rinse the bracelet in fresh water and dry it after swimming, and it will hold its colour far longer. If the watch is going to live at the pool, the plain silver -001 or -002 is the more robust choice.
Will a two-tone watch match my jewellery?
That is the point of it. Because the bracelet carries both silver and light rose gold, it sits comfortably next to either — or both at once. A single-metal watch forces a choice; this one doesn't. It is the only Luna that does this.
