The Citizen Zenshin NJ0180-80H is an automatic built in Super Titanium™ — Citizen's proprietary material, five times harder and 40% lighter than stainless steel, and both scratch- and rust-resistant. At 40.5mm and just 99 grams, it's remarkably light for a mechanical watch on a full metal bracelet.
The case is finely brushed and polished and flows straight into an integrated matching bracelet with no protruding lugs. On the dial, a textured grey surface is framed by a black outer minute ring, with silver-tone details and luminous hands and markers. A date window at 3 o'clock sits beside an off-centre small seconds sub-dial — the visible sign that a mechanical movement is running.
That movement is Caliber 8213: a 21-jewel automatic with a central rotor, wound by the motion of your wrist, holding roughly 40 hours of reserve. A see-through case back opens it to view. Sapphire glass protects the dial, and the case is water resistant to 100 metres.
