Is the crystal sapphire?
No, this model uses mineral crystal — scratch-resistant and well suited to everyday wear. If sapphire is a priority, Citizen's CA4674 chronograph series is fitted with it.
Can I swim with this watch?
No. With 50-metre (5 BAR) water resistance it's rated for handwashing, rain and brief accidental splashes, but it isn't intended for swimming, showering or diving — and the leather strap shouldn't be soaked in any case.
Does an Eco-Drive watch need servicing?
Far less than a mechanical watch — there's no mainspring or balance assembly to wear in the same way. The rechargeable cell is designed to last many years under normal use. Bring it to any City Chain outlet if you notice reduced charge retention over time.
